12/11/09 STARBUCKS: OUR HQ

Woke up believing for a God encounter today! Walked all day yesterday finding lots of great places around the city and looking for where the young adults hangout! Starbucks is always a great hub so we have made that our HQ while here especially since it's in the downtown area! After a big day o walking we went to the gym yes isaid it right we went to the gym and worked out for an hour and chilled out in the spa resting ourselves for another big day tomorrow!

We met a taxi driver who was willing to take us where ever we wanted to go he spoke English we could understand and new Prague very well as well as the INS and outs so we said your our man! Rodick who is on my latest vid blog saying hi then drove us around for almost four hours showing us outside villages, different housing estates outside the city were expats live, units and hoses around the city schools stadiums everyting as well as letting us no local knowledge history and likes and dislikes of the people!

The country is over 60 % athiest only cause communism killed everything Orr last 60 years and really the people have no opinion either way which means we have welcome invitation! He was the man we were believing to meet since before we left as we will keep on touch as he can help us set up interprete and prepare for us being here in the future a well as driving us when we return!

We r having a belated lunch now before going off to explore again itsgreat to be reconnected again thanks starbucks and hope all is well back home as I am being told! Matu is doin great keeping up pace well and very curious with it all which is great he us a blessing to have with me while we r here Making history! We miss you all and thankyou for all your prayers and encouragement! Please keep beleiving with us for more God encounters as he hasn't disappointed us yet! Love you guys! A

11/11/09 WE'VE ARRIVED IN PRAGUE

After a 30 hour plane flight, we walked around Prague all day (in the freezing cold) soaking in the sites, the people and the atmosphere. The people are open and polite and very ready for a Generation Prague, I'm sure! Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement. God is good to us with opening up doors and leading the way for us over here. It's a spectacular city, beautiful with the old, and the history it represents, yet it has a young spirit ready for change and a future of possibilities. The food is way too good over here as well, and with all these retail shops, we would lose our wives for months. More to come love to all! A

2010 for Generation!

2010 BIGGER, BETTER & BEYOND!

Ephesians 3:20 says that God is able "to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine", and that's how 2010 is shaping up to be here at Generation. Bigger, better and beyond what we could naturally plan or perform.

Following our Vision night, here's a glimpse of what's happening in the new year!

* Our Sunday morning services at Central will be relocated to the Gold Coast Arts Centre, along with a number of major combined events throughout the year.
* Our Northern Campus will relocate to our Upper Coomera facility, which is being renovated, giving it a much greater catchment area and seating capacity.
* Our South Campus is being strengthened with key team members, as we also look to a new venue for a season of increase.
* Our Connect Groups are being restructured to allow for more groups, more flexibility and more fruitfulness.

* Our Global Care will launch initiatives in Prague and Thailand

* Our Leadership College, now partnering with Harvest College, is positioning itself as a training model for our nation and beyond.

It's all happening, so let's continue to dream bigger, better and beyond! Who knows what the future may bring!

For many people, the word judgment conjures up thoughts of punishment, law and failure. When God speaks about judgment however, He is focussing on reward, blessing and commendation.

When God looks at you, He sees what you've done right, not what you've done wrong.

He see your successes, not your failures.

He highlights your destiny, not your disappointments!

The Unforced Rhythms of Grace

To know what you were born, gifted and graced to be, is powerful.

To know what you were 'not' graced to be, will absolutely revolutionize the way you live your life.

There is nothing more frustrating than trying to be something or someone you're not.

There is nothing more freeing than to discover who you really are in Christ!
